Reddington

Reddington was purchased for $120,000 in a digital sale in March 2024. Following 3 straight starts in which he had excuses, I decided to change tactics, switching riders and cutting him back to 7f, after running a mile and longer in many of his previous starts. I found the perfect spot for him at Saratoga in late July in a Starter Allowance he was eligible for. He sat a perfect stalk and pounce trip to prevail at 7-1 under new rider Ramon Vazquez. 2 months later Reddington was boosted in class into a very tough Allowance race at the same 7f distance. He was dismissed a 36-1, but won anyway, in a career best effort with jockey Sammy Camacho Jr. aboard. I'm pointing Reddington to a race in early November at Aqueduct. He's clearly at the top of his game. That $120,000 investment is appearing to pay off.
