Owned by my Best Friend Larry Doyle (KatieRich Farms), May Day Ready is a 2 year old filly who I play a part in the management of her career. She's a perfect 3-3 with a debut win at 25-1 going 2 turns on the turf at Saratoga. May Day Ready won her second start, shipping to Kentucky Downs to win a $997,000 stake. We had to choose between the Gr. 3 Miss Grillo at Aqueduct or the Gr. 2 Jessamine at Keeneland, both Win and Your In to the Breeders' Cup. The Wizard felt that the Jessamine was the better spot. May Day Ready received a Hall of Fame ride from Frankie Dettori to prevail by a nose in a 3 horse blanket finish. She's a perfect 3-3 going into the BC Juvenile Fillies Turf as one of the favorites to win that prestigious race.
